In Homes Like These is now released!

When his wife no longer satisfies his sexual urges, Edward makes sure his daughter takes over those duties.

You can watch it here

This will be our last project for a little bit, as we will be taking a break. There's simply too much going on right now in our personal lives to make the time to create these videos. That doesn't mean we're done forever though, far from it: we still have lots and lots of stories to tell and we will get to them eventually.

Merry Christmas and happy new year, we'll see you in 2025!

Therapeutic (Info page)

The lonely and sexually frustrated Jeff gets the advice to speak to a psychologist to deal with his depression. However, when it turns out his therapist is a busty and attractive young woman, new problems arise.

Production

The making of this movie turned out to be more difficult and complicated than Fröy first anticipated. He assumed, since the story took place almost entirely in one room with only two characters, that it would be the simplest video yet.
However, given the nature of the story, and some of the animations involved, he faced numerous difficulties. The main one was runtime; for a while, he was thinking of splitting the movie up into three parts (similar to My Own Piece of Nothingness and Laura, the Exchange Student among others), but felt like there were no natural cut-off points in the story to do that.
The reason the length of the video ran away from Fröy was the very slow escalation of events between Jeff and Chelsea. Given the nature of the two characters and the context of the story, plenty of build-up was required before sex could be shown.
He also had to find some obscure animations, given that the vast majority of conversations between the characters happen in seated positions, and he was worried about the animations he already had access too would become too repetitive.

Llunkttut, on the other hand, had an easier time. This was one of the simpler movies for him to edit, since very few visual effects were needed, as well as a low number of sound effects compared to most previous projects. His main issue was attempting to cut the project down to a reasonable runtime without sacrificing too much of the story.

Trivia

  • There's a Sims-style poster of Star Wars: A New Hope on the wall in Jeff's apartment.
  • Chelsea is the first character in any Cumagical video to wear tops where protruding nipples can be seen.
  • The movie was always meant to jump forward between therapy sessions rather than show all of them. However, for the sake of the runtime, several sessions that were actually recorded had to be cut. One of these go further into Jeff's backstory, where he and his brother Matt grew up orphaned and had to live with their grandfather, who never showed the brothers any affection. It also goes into detail about Jeff's jealousy towards his brother, who has a successful career at a music record label and lives in a nice house with a sexy wife.
  • The movie Jeff and Matt watches in the beginning is Jordan Eagle: Intergalactic Super Stud, another Cumagical Studios production.
  • Jeff and Matt are Italian-American.
  • In another cut session, Jeff interrupts the therapy with the excuse that he needs to go to the bathroom. While there, he is seen masturbating to the topless picture he took of Chelsea.
  • In the script, Fröy describes Jeff as viewing Chelsea as a combination of a love interest, sex object, and maternal figure.
  • There is a poster of Princess Peach from the Super Mario franchise wearing lingerie on the wall in Jeff's apartment.
  • In the original script, the ending is extended; Jeff would have been seen stalking Chelsea all the way to her house, and the movie would have ended with Chelsea going to bed and Jeff watching her through the bedroom window. However, given how long the runtime was already, this was scrapped.
  • The music track "Urges" that Llunkttut produced for this movie is Fröy's favorite original track for any Cumagical video.

Therapeutic is now released!

The lonely and sexually frustrated Jeff gets the advice to speak to a psychologist to deal with his depression. However, when it turns out his therapist is a busty and attractive young woman, new problems arise.

It took a while, but we managed to get Therapeutic uploaded! This is a longer one, with a lot of buildup and focus on dialogue, so it may not be everybody's cup of tea. Hopefully you'll enjoy it!
Due to file size limitations it's split up into two parts, which you can find here and here.

Jordan Eagle: Intergalactic Super Stud (Info page)

Jordan Eagle: Intergalactic Super Stud is a science fiction comedy, which parodies Star Wars and many other sci fi franchises.
It tells the story of Jordan Eagle, a space adventurer and ladies man who saves a young woman from pirates - and subsequently struggles against the urge to have sex with her.

Production

The Jordan Eagle movies were planned since Star Wars content was first introduced in The Sims 4, but was put on hold for other ongoing projects. After "Love Is For the Blind" was finished, production began in earnest. All three movies in the 'original trilogy' were recorded more or less simultaneously.

Trivia

  • The main idea behind the character of Jordan Eagle was 'Han Solo, if he had an uncontrollable sex drive and none of the competence.'
  • The big influences behind the character of Jordan, apart from Han Solo, was Sterling Archer (from the TV show Archer) and Nathan Drake (from the video game series Uncharted).
  • The name of the planet Bellendor, where the pirates are hiding out, is a mix of Endor (a moon featured in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi) and the British slang "bellend" (basically synonymous with "dickhead")
  • The line that Jordan feels the need to re-enter Amber's cell to say is a reference to the famous "I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you" from Star Wars: A New Hope. Amber's outfit in this scene was all white specifically to emphasize her similarities to Leia.
  • The exterior of Jordan's ship is footage from the video game The Movies by Lionhead Studios.
  • The name of the "fuel station/gangster's paradise" of Hell Sink 1 is a reference to the Finnish capital of Helsinki.
  • Jordan's description of Hell Sink 1, calling it "a wretched hive of scum and villainy" is a line directly taken from Star Wars: A New Hope. There, it is used by Obi-Wan Kenobi to describe the port city of Mos Eisley.
  • During Jordan's conversation with Bobby Phat in Hell Sink 1, a Xenomorph from the Alien franchise can be seen in the background.
  • Also in Hell Sink 1, a Venusian can be briefly seen. Venusians made their first appearance in the Cumagical movie The Lady at 5 Orion Street, where the main character Lorraine is a Venusian in disguise. This ties the two movies together.
  • Jordan's line "Thank god they have Stormtrooper aim" is a reference to the in-jokes between Star Wars fans that Stormtroopers have horrible aim in the movies.
  • Jordan's facial hair is inconsistent in the movie. He was always meant to be clean-shaven, but Fröy forgot to disable the option where facial hair grows out on its own. He considered re-shooting the scenes where Jordan had grown stubble, but Llunkttut felt like it was unnecessary, since Jordan's facial hair growing out was realistic. Fröy agreed and eventually recorded a scene where Jordan shaves his beard ahead of meeting Earth Gorvernor Kewell, but it was cut to shorten runtime.
  • Jordan exclaiming "Great Scott!" when seeing Amber's new outfit is a reference to the Back to the Future movies.
  • Ballderan, Amber's home planet, is a reference to Alderaan from the Star Wars movies.
  • The name of the bounty hunter Bobby Phat is a reference to Boba Fett from the Star Wars movies, also a bounty hunter.
  • When Jordan tells Amber it's time to leave Hell Sink 1, Amber says "Already? But this scene took forever to set up!" The scene, from building the lot and creating the background characters, to recording the scene in its entirety, took over 4 hours to finish.
  • When Jordan shoots one of the pirates in the beginning, a Wilhelm Scream can be heard - a famous sound effect included in Star Wars along with many other movies and games.
  • During his sex scene with Amber, Jordan says "Holy Kenobi", a reference to Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars movies.
  • Jordan has a poster of a topless female Stormtrooper in his room on the ship.
  • Earth Governor Kewell's robot servant 5L4V3's name is leet speak for "Slave".
  • Earth Governor Kewell's ship, the Century Pelican, which he describes as an "antique from some far off galaxy" is a reference to the Millennium Falcon from the Star Wars franchise.
  • Earth Governor Kewell also has an R2D2 unit in his estate. Another unit can be seen in Hell Sink 1.
  • Jordan and Billy's relationship was partly inspired by that of Charlie and Alan Harper in the TV show Two and a Half Men.
  • The "adventure outfit" that Amber changes into near the end is the outfit worn by Miranda Lawson in the Mass Effect series.

Jordan Eagle Accidentally Saves the Galaxy is now released!

In order to win her affections, Jordan steals an ancient cube for Queen Fellatia of the planet Vyx. But why is the cube so important to her?

The last entry in the original Jordan Eagle trilogy is now released and can be seen here. We leave him for now, but the Eagle will almost certainly be back at some point in the near (or far off) future.
