Update

You may have noticed our new project is taking a while. There's a good (and sad) reason for that.

Llunkttut has been working hard editing two projects at the same time, one of which being Our Loved Ones teased in the previous post. That project was almost done, and a second one was about half-way done, when a small disaster struck.

When Llunkttut updated his editing software, something went wrong and the projects were reset to a much earlier stage.

He had to resume work on Our Loved Ones at about the half-way point, and the second project from scratch.

Obviously, this was an incredibly frustrating experience for both of us, and we tried everything to restore the projects but with no luck.

Because of this, Our Loved Ones will be taking longer than anticipated, and the following project even longer than that.

We're sorry about the inconvenience.

Q&A #2

Q: Any plans on uploading "Roommates"? I can't find it anywhere. Love your stuff, guys!

A: Not really. Roommates was a test video for us, and we weren't happy with the quality even right after we made it. And unlike Fogwood Family, we don't really feel a need to do a remake either, since the story was relatively barebones and its themes have already been explored somewhat in other videos we've made since then.

Q: In Homes Like These 2?

A: Not planned at the moment. Since the ending gave the viewers an idea of what life would be like for the characters in that story going forward, there's no real need for it to continue. It would likely just have been more of the same.

Q: Besides Abbie, is there any other character that you feel a connection? Maybe not the same like her, but yea, like grown to like them.

A: Several. Laura was the first one. We're also fond of Zoë from Five Pines Hill, Samantha Beasley and several characters from Noblian Chronicles like Hope, Dínlen and Aurora.

Q: Would you ever consider commissions for fan stories to be made at all?

A: Unlikely. We're constantly working with a huge list of planned projects and we prefer if those take priority. It doesn't help that we're constantly coming up with new ideas and expand that list even further.

Q: Therapist sequel (because of the cliffhanger pls)

A: Not planned at the moment. We often like to leave the stories open-ended, to let people fill in the blanks themselves if they want to. In this case, we feel like that works better than a sequel would.

Q: What others themes are you wanting to explore? You already make Sci fi, western, cyberpunk. I am personally a big fan of tokusatsu series, Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, something like that would be really great!

A: We've been playing with the idea of a superhero parody for a while, but hard to say when we'll get around to actually making that. Would also be interesting to make more fantasy outside of Noblia.

Q: Any chance of seeing Laura again?

A: It's possible. Right now there's nothing planned, but it is a character we're fond of, so maybe at some point in the future.

Q: I've always wanted to replace the now chopped Goths with the Fogwood family. Do you ever thought about releasing the Sims you used for your videos for download? They're great!

A: Not really, we didn't think there would be interest in it. There's also the issue of us often deleting the Sims we use in our projects once we know that specific project is done so that the game world doesn't get too crowded. This is the case with the Fogwoods as well, they're thrown into the void :(

Q: What are your future plans?

A: We currently have a huge list of planned projects we're gonna work our way through. At the time of writing this, we're working on two separate projects at the same time (when we can, things are a bit hectic right now).

Q: Did you expected your movies to come this far? Did you know about other countries where your movies are being watched? How you feel about that?

A: Not at all. That's why our earliest projects were of such low quality. We didn't think anyone would watch them, and we certainly didn't think anyone would be interested enough to follow a blog of ours and ask these kinds of questions! We always thought you'd need to be a really skilled Blender animator or something in order to get any kind of viewership.

Of course, we're overjoyed so many people are watching and enjoying!

Q: Is there any fetish that you haven’t make yet that you wanted to make a movie or build up a story about?

A: We rarely think about any particular fetishes, to be honest. The ideas are usually plot/character focused most of all. Sexual content is of course a core part of those ideas, but the sexual activities themselves usually just happen in a way that feels the most natural for that specific story.

Q: Are you get new inspirations from new movies or series that came out recently? Squid Game new seasons come up this year, when you make Dick Game there was only season one, you still get new ideas from this new material?

A: Not really, and if we did it would probably take a long time before those inspirations became apparent, considering the aforementioned giant list of planned projects.

Q: Can we know how Richard looks like behind the mask?

A: What mask? ;)

Q: Is there any particular project you wished you had approached differently, either through story telling or animation, style, setting etc.?

A: The early projects, definitely. This has been a learning process and there are a lot of sloppiness in the earliest stuff we did, in everything from the writing and recording, to picking the animations, to editing.

Q: Is there any particular project that you're itching to return to, either as a reworking or a sequel/prequel - (I.E.: you just enjoyed the characters / setting so much)?

A: I have some trouble letting go of Noblia. I put a lot of work into that world and it wouldn't surprise me if we return to it at some point.

(Also there will most likely be more Jordan Eagle stories in the future, he's just so much fun)

Q: The Fogwood Family has possibilities of appearing on new projects? I think we all love these characters and want more of them.

A: Doubtful at the moment. Considering the approach of Heritage there's always a possibility of retelling the story in a different way (another townsperson's theory on what's happening inside the house) but right now we don't have any plans for that.

Q: Any movie of yours that you think is underrated/underappreciated? And any that you are surprised about the popularity?

A: While this feels a little bit self-indulgent to say - probably The Lady at 5 Orion Street. We're still happy with that one, especially the tone that we were going for. And while Noblian Chronicles seems relatively popular, we still consider that the best thing we've made, but it doesn't seem like most people agree with that.
As for the second question, we're a bit surprised at how many people want to see a sequel to Mindhacker. We had fun with that project, but never really intended for it to have a sequel. In Homes Like These also got a surprising number of views relatively quickly, even though we saw that as a smaller project that we did between larger ones.

Q: Really enjoyed your dark drama stuff - any plans to do more in the same vein of 'Nothingness' series?

A: Probably. I'm partial to teen dramas, troubled youth, tales of broken families etc. Right now we don't have anything planned, but will most likely do more of that in the future.

Q: Is the Order X plot ended for good?
I rewatched Ctrl Z, and in that movie the Order member mention something about preventing mans downfall. Also there was no mention of Itsuki in Agent Fatale, is he dead?
In my opinion, I can almost see something plotting with the movie B.U.S.T, maybe it could be a connection in between. Is the sequel teased for B.U.S.T still on planning?
And just to know, is the order plot ended for good?

A: Probably not, Order X has a lot of potential for being recurring antagonists in several stories.
Itsuki's fate was left ambiguous on purpose. CTRL+Z hints that he is killed, and right now there are no plans for him to be featured in another story, so it's safe to assume he indeed died.
I have notes on an indirect sequel to B.U.S.T, which would take place in the same timeline, but it is likely far off.

Q: Are we still getting more content of Noblia? I really liked Dinlen. She was a really good character, I enjoyed her relation with Diana, but when she died, I really liked how she keep w Fenrion.
So I wanted to ask, is she dead? Or there are possibilities of seeing more of her eventually?

A: Right now we don't want to get into details, but let's just say Noblia and the Continent still have a lot of potential for future stories!
And we also like Dínlen - and since her fate was never ultimately stated at the end of Noblian Chronicles, who knows? ;)

Thanks for all your questions! We'll likely do another one of these in the future.

Building Confidence is now released!

Principal Moore starts having private lessons with his student Lily, who is having some trouble dealing with her crippling shyness. She finds it especially difficult to handle the other male students and how they constantly stare at her unusually large breasts. Moore has a special plan for how to make her less self-aware.

It took a few hours and trial and error, but we finally managed to upload Building Confidence, split up into four parts due to the file size limitation.
It's really a shame that Rule34Video is so stringent when it comes to the file size limit, especially since there doesn't seem to be a way to check what that limit actually is.

Anyway, you can find the first part here, the second here, the third here, and the fourth here.

This story was, of course, made as one video, and it is basically feature-film length. Because of this, there is a lot of buildup and dialogue before any sex scenes are shown. The first part especially won't show any sex scenes - this seems strange when it's viewed as a single video, but would make more sense if we weren't forced to split up the story in this way.

This story, with its slow buildup and pacing, will likely be a bit polarizing. But if you enjoyed videos like Therapeutic, you'll likely enjoy this one as well.

There will also be a short add-on video to this which will be released at a later date.

We hope you enjoy!

Have you ever wondered what the exterior of Jordan Eagle's ship actually looks like?

Not exactly what a renowned space adventurer should be seen cruising around in, huh?

In other news, we are still working on new projects. Progress is a bit slow, but it is moving forward. I have finished recording material for two new movies, one of which will likely be very long. However, Llunk is struggling to find the time for editing. We will let you all know when a release is closing in, though.

The Fogwood Family: Heritage (Info page)

The wealthy, reclusive and mysterious Fogwood family have lived in the outskirts of town for as long as anyone can remember and are the source of endless rumors. But what actually happens within their old mansion?

Production

Cumagical had talked about creating a remake of The Fogwood Family since shortly after the original had been released in 2017, since they both liked the story and characters, but disliked how the original short movie came out. During their short break from creating videos, they decided that the remake would be their first project upon returning.
Fröy had initially planned to make a scene-by-scene remake of the original movie, but eventually decided against it. He preferred the idea of creating a slight re-imagining of the story, and liked the concept of Heritage (and by extension the original movie) just being stories told by the local townspeople based on rumors and hearsay rather than the literal truth, which explains the slightly different chain of events, script and look of the characters. This also allowed him to improve and change parts of the script he had grown discontent with.
Llunkttut made sure to keep the music used in the original mostly intact, in order to keep the atmosphere consistent. However, he also altered the lighting and coloring to portray a more gothic mood, something he wished he had done with the original as well, since a "gothic tone" was literally written into the original script by Fröy.

Trivia

  • The Fogwoods are actually related in-game.
  • The original movie also had two add-ons, with slightly different scenarios. Fröy used the idea of creating two add-ons for the remake as well, in order to include sex scenes he would have liked to show but that the main movie didn't have time and space for.
  • The butler Ronald’s surname in-game was ‘Pennyworth’, a nod towards Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth in DC's Batman.
  • Richard's line "A bird needs to be given wings before she can fly" is a nod towards the quote that opened the original movie: "Baby eagles can never soar under their family's wing."
  • The book that Vanessa is reading in the first add-on video is "The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe."
  • Like in the original, Samantha is portrayed as being artistic, with an easel in her room along with several paintings on the walls. These paintings were painted by Samantha herself in-game. Fröy also decided to emphasize her melancholic personality, as opposed to Ethan's formal one.
  • One of the sources of inspiration behind the appearance of the Fogwoods were the Addams Family.
  • The names of the Fogwood parents, Richard and Vanessa, were never mentioned in the original movie, despite being in the script.
  • The name of one of the old ladies who is telling the story, Mrs Thornhill, is a reference to a minor character in Grand Theft Auto V.

The second add-on for The Fogwood Family is now released!

The second and final add-on to The Fogwood Family: Heritage is now released and can be found here.

We'll now move on to our next projects. We're still quite busy these days, so it's hard to tell when the next video will be released. Stay tuned!
