Trivia:
- Originally, Edward's wife Gabriela was supposed to have married him after he had become successful, drawn to his money and fame rather than his personality. But Fröy later decided to change it, and write her as being his wife prior to Edward getting the book from The Cult, thinking her being genuinely in love with her husband would make his deal with the demons all the more appalling.
- His line "Good God, is there even a Hell horrid enough for someone like me?" was a line originally written for Patient 04, another Cumagical story.
- One of his books, "Serpent of Hedrest", is a reference to Noblian Chronicles, another Cumagical work. In that series, Hedrest is a city in Noblia.
- Fröy considered making a standalone spinoff called Sunkissed Water, where Edward and Gabriela's erotic moments during their holiday was to be shown, but this idea was scrapped.
