In order to win her affections, Jordan steals an ancient cube for Queen Fellatia of the planet Vyx. But why is the cube so important to her?
Production
The third part of the Jordan Eagle trilogy took plenty of lot building, with the Nova Base, Queen Fellatia's palace, and the extended interior of Jordan's ship having to be created. Because of this, the actual recording process was slightly delayed. There was also some minor recordings for the next project, Therapeutic, being done simultaneously. Overall, the recording and editing process both took longer than the other two parts.
Trivia
- The "Jeepers Creepers" that were to invade from dark space is a reference to The Reapers from the Mass Effect franchise.
- The short scene of Jordan, Amber and 53X sneaking past Super Nova and a droid in the Nova Base took 9 tries to complete, since the trio refused to sneak by without either checking their phones, ignoring the new walking style they had been assigned ahead of recording, or messing up the timing with one of them severely lagging behind the others.
- The name of the planet Naboob is a reference to Naboo from the Star Wars franchise.
- The 'droids' guarding The Nova's hideout are actually Geth from the Mass Effect franchise.
- A scene inside The Nova's hideout where Amber convinces Jordan to let her take out a guard droid, and proceeds to do so like a professional ninja, was cut to shorten runtime.
- The non-existent "stealth drive" that Jordan refers to is a reference to that of the Normandy, the ship from the Mass Effect franchise.
- The item used for the "Cube of Plot Conveniences" is a Jedi Holocron from the Star Wars franchise.
- Fellatia's name is a play on the word fellatio.
- The effect of Jordan's ship flying away from behind one of the towers of the Nova Base was done by taking a screenshot of the same clip, cutting out the tower in question and then adding it as an upper layer in the shot, with the ship moving across the screen underneath it.
- The people of Vyx were originally designed to more closely resemble the Asari from the Mass Effect franchise, but their appearance was overhauled to have a more aquatic and original appearance, since Fröy felt like there were too many Mass Effect references in the movie already.
